Always Post First
Remember to always post first. No, I don't mean like being the first person to comment under a youtube video, but more in a "post first, ask questions later" kinda deal. Sometimes folks have a hard time expressing themselves, and often tie themselves up in knots trying to find the right word. For those people, my advice is to post first, deal with the problems later. I should stress that there are clear exceptions to the rule. Don't post if you're being a bigot, and posting thru it under mostcircumstances is ill advised save for the most experienced of posters, but if you're like, idk. Thinking about how to express your opinion on media, or a half of a joke popped into your head, then post first.
Perfect is the enemy of good. As someone that used to be a perfectionist, this line means a lot to me. It reminds that that starting something is better than never having the idealized version of it within my head. That even if what i make isn't great, or even good, I can work to improve upon it, or remake it fully, but it's always easier to start with something and then make it quality, as oppossed to making it perfect from the jump.
That's my method when it comes to putting my ideas out there. Honestly sometimes I'll post not so much to put something out into the world, but just to get it out of my head. To exorcise a curse borne of the mass that occupies a space that would normally be filled by a brain. I'm not sure I have a brain, not the same kind used by everyday folks. Posters have something else going on up there, but our best scientists still havent been able to figure it out. I was supposed to write something related to the pullquote up there, but I forgot. We'll get em next time soldier.
well, it's been fun, but now I've gotta go to sleep. till next time.
